Amber Fort - Photos by Keith Rawling

The Elephants have new sleeping quarters near the fort so they do not have to make the long walk from Jaipur every day. After the trouble a while back, only female elephants are used and are restricted to taking two people at a time up to the fort only, not the descent. The money they make goes towards the upkeep of the other elephants. The last trips are around noon, when they return to their quarters for a bath and a rest.
